| Last night was so amazing. I played in the Spring Concert for my school (piano of course). The two pieces I played were "Mofongo" and "Here, There, and Everywhere." I was slightly nervous before the performance, but when I sat down on the piano bench in front of the crowd and started playing my songs with the rest of the jazz band, the feeling of nervousness went away. This concert left me dissapointed though, because this was last chance we got to see the seniors at our school. I'm going to miss my friends Kyle Vitale most of all, because he really supported me throughout my first year of playing with the jazz band. Next year, though, I will have to take the next step and become the lead pianist for the band. So, I have a lot of work to do to get ready over the summer; I will do my best, but there is no way I can ever replace Kyle. Now, I am looking forward to the Christmas concert.
Before I finish writing, I started singing Tuesday. It was um....quite interesting. If you want to know about it just ask me, but it wasn't that much to talk about.
| I had my birthday today! Finally I turned sixteen, and soon I'll be getting my permit. I can't wait. I wish I was able to express my excitment about this day a little bit, but it's hard when I'm typing about it. Anyway, I had school today so that was kinda dull, but the highlight of my day was something I didn't expect to happen. After school, I got a call from a friend of mine from the play (Madeline), and she called me to wish me a happy birthday. That was so cool because I really didn't expect anyone except my family to remember my birthday. "Madeline, you are the coolest, and I really appreciated your call more than anything today." It really lifted my spirits today, and so to this I would say if that were enough to show how much I appreciate what you did, but somehow that is not enough. But until I find the right words to show my appreciation I guess all I can say is, "Madeline, you're are the greastest friend ever, and I hope someday I can do something for you on your special day. Well thats all for tonight. Good night all, and good night Madeline.
Madeline, you are my hero for the day...lol.
| Today was decent. Average...kinda boring...I was so tired though because I was up until 12:00 the previous night doing a history project. I got it though, eventually...but then my printer broke so I had to get early and go the school to print it up there. After that ordeal, school ran pretty smoothly; nothing reallly too exciting to speak of. Except during French, we were supposed to present current events today, but thankfully the teacher forgot and spent the whole class talking about the trip he went on, to Paris. I was so relieved. The whole class I was sitting there dreading the current because I was not prepared for it at all.
I am looking forward to piano lessons tommorrow though. Wish me luck.
I'm going to bed now to get some well deserved rest. Good night, everyone.
| Hey everyone. I know I have written anything since I started this xanga. So here goes. Let's see...well my vacation was somewhat unrewarding, but I did get to have my friend Joe over on Saturday. Yeah good times. We were working on the play he is writting. It's a good start for a play, but it needed some work, like more characters and bigger scenes...etc. I also got to write my own intro for one of the songs he's writting for the play. We hope to have it finished by the summer if possible. Anyway, today I'll just be hanging out at my house, doing homework and other fun stuff (boring). I still have to finish some stupid history project. I hate AP Euro...lol, but it's got to get done. So if wants to drag me away from my work, please do. Just Im me or something. Well that's all for now. I'll try to keep writing more frequently, let me know what you want me to write about. I'm open to suggestions. | | |
